 Hello!
My name is Matthew Fiedler, and I am a DJ and an Office Manager for
Tone Productions. I have been providing musical entertainment for Tone
since the fall of 1995.
I first caught a glimpse of the mobile DJ industry
while working at the Lexington House banquet hall in Hickory Hills. In
those four years, I was able to see different DJ performances and view
everything from the banquet hall perspective so I know how a reception
should flow. Eventually, I began working with Tone Productions, and I’ve been
doing it ever since!
In order to keep my performance fresh & up-to-date, I
also work in clubs and specialize in club-style editing and mixing. Here in
Chicago I’ve worked in many bars & clubs such as Xtremez,
G.O. Fitz, 115 Bourbon Street, Wild Olive, Ground
Zero, and The Living Room, just to name a few. All of this
club work has graced me with the nickname, “Mixmaster F”. Twice
a year I attend DJ Expos to meet & network with other DJ’s across the
country. Basically I believe it’s impossible to learn too much. And
now, going further into the industry, I also work in the original
music production & remixing field, currently remixing for
Select Mix,
and the Executive Producer for Hot Tracks. I am the the A+R Director
for the Jake Dance division of Jake Records. I’m also working on my
first full-length album, which is scheduled to release in the Fall of
2009. All of my experiences have just
furthered my passion for music and love for entertaining. In my time
at Tone Productions I have entertained at close to 1,000 events. There is
nothing more rewarding than helping a Bride & Groom have a great
reception. I have made music my full-time career, and wouldn’t have it
